TOOLS FOR YOUR PRODUCTIVITY · PLANS
Keep the plan behind your next step.
A task says what to do. A plan explains how. Thugtools Plans gives your Markdown roadmaps, study plans, and project notes a simple library beside the work they support.
Open plansImport a Markdown file or paste your content
Bring an existing .md or .markdown document into the plan library using Import. Text files are also supported. If your plan is already on your clipboard, choose Paste content and add it directly to the editor.
Give the plan a clear title, write or paste its content, and switch to Preview before saving. You can edit a saved plan later, so your preparation notes can evolve as the project changes.
Read formatted plans without clutter
The Markdown reader formats headings, lists, checklists, tables, links, and code blocks in the same dark theme as your workspace. A long roadmap becomes a readable document instead of a wall of text.
Use headings for milestones, bullet lists for supporting details, and tables to compare options or organize a schedule. Markdown checklists display as part of the document; progress on linked work is tracked in Tasks.
Assign each plan to one task
Open the link control on a task to browse your plans in the side panel. Choose the plan that explains that piece of work. A task can have one linked plan, and a plan can belong to one task at a time.
If you choose a plan already linked elsewhere, its link moves to the new task. This makes the relationship clear: one document supports one task. The plan reader also includes a link back to its task.
Keep a Markdown copy of important work
Download a saved plan as a Markdown file when you want a separate copy or need to use it in another editor. Your plan library is stored in this browser, so downloads are useful before moving to a different device or clearing site data.
How to get started
- Open Plans and choose Import or Paste content under Tools.
- Add a title and your Markdown, then inspect the formatted preview.
- Save the plan so it appears in your library.
- Open a task’s link control and select the plan to connect them.
Example: a study roadmap linked to a task
Import a weekly study roadmap with headings for each day, practice topics, and a reference table. Link it to “Complete this week’s preparation” in Tasks. Keep the exercises as subtasks and use the plan for the details.
Where your work is saved
Your work is saved locally in the browser and device where you create it. There is no account or cross-device sync. Clearing site data removes your saved work. Download important plans and notes as Markdown to keep a separate copy.
Frequently asked questions
Which files can I import?
You can import .md, .markdown, and .txt files, or paste Markdown content directly into the editor.
Can one plan be linked to multiple tasks?
No. Each plan belongs to one task at a time. Assigning an already linked plan moves its link to the selected task.
Can I edit or download a saved plan?
Yes. Open a plan from the library to edit its content or download it as a Markdown file.
Are my plans published online?
No. Imported and saved plans stay in your browser storage. The public pages describe the tool; they do not publish your documents.
